August 20:  Dinner and Live Auction   5:00 – 9:00 pm    OES Lower School

Theme is “A Wing and A Prayer.”  As Barbara Murray wrote for the April Forerunner: “Like the World War II pilot who landed his damaged plane “on a wing and a prayer”, we move forward from two years of isolation with gratitude and resourcefulness.”  Join us in the joy of being together and celebrating.

Cost of Ticket: $55

Appetizers and socializing will be on the patio.  Dinner and Live Auction will be in the cafeteria which will be air conditioned.

From August 13 – 20 the Silent auction will be online at no cost to all parishioners.

Deadline to donate all Silent and Live auction items is Sunday, July 24.  Only exception:  Bottles for Wall of Wine can keep coming in until August 7.

On Sunday, August 7, there will be a preview of silent auction items in the Ladehoff room after the 10:00 service.

The silent auction includes an array of different auction items, plus wall of wine, easel parties, and gift cards.  Plus, we have donation opportunities: sponsorship at any amount to defray auction costs which is an important support to our church, and paddle raise for Western Farm Workers, Operation Night Watch, William Temple House which are the three entities with whom our Social Ministries Team provides support.

Registration will start July 1 online.  Everyone is asked to register online.  But if for any reason online registration doesn’t work for you, no worries.  Let the church office know and a paper registration form will be sent to you as an email attachment or if needed a USPS mailed hard copy.

July 1 is when registration starts for both Live Auction and Dinner and for Online Silent Auction. Signing up for the Live Auction and Dinner gives automatic access to the Silent Auction.

For anyone participating in the Silent Auction only, registration is also required in order to provide credit card information and to gain access to the site.

Registration for the Dinner and Live Auction closes on Monday, August 15.
